THE ACADEMY IS CELEBRATING ITS 25TH ANNIVERSARY

The Journal of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress (JAAETS) is published for the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and the National Center for Crisis Management as a benefit of membership with the organizations. The JAAETS is the official publication of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.  The JAAETS, like its membership, is a multidisciplinary in nature. The articles included in the JAAETS focuses on the many facets of traumatic stress and crisis management and includes theoretical perspectives, empirical research, prevention and post-intervention strategies, treatment outcome studies, among other type of documents.  

The Journal of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress serves its multidisciplinary membership who address the needs of survivors before, during and in the aftermath of traumatic exposure (both man-made and natural disasters). The journal publishes theoretical articles, case studies, editorials, as well as other topics that are relevant to traumatic stress and crisis situations. 

Publication Dates:
The Journal of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, is published quarterly in June, September, December and March by The American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, 127 Echo Avenue, Miller Place, NY 11764.
